Pinoyliga Cup Inter-Alumni Division defending champions University of Sto.Tomas lead the eight-school,

ten-team cast for the 2022 season starting this weekend.

UST is bound for a serious bid on retaining the throne as they bring to their team former UAAP Mythical

5 and Growling Tigers legend Cyrus Baguio. A spitfire that will surely bring an offensive arsenal that will

surely be a thorn in opposing teams.

But it's not going to be a cakewalk to the crown for them, with four other alumni school-based teams

seeing action this year. Other schools are also powered by former MPBL and PBA players that will make

the tournament spicy as ever.

San Beda and Letran will live on in their rivalry to the alumni stage while San Sebastian and University of

the East complete the 40-Up Division A.

Two teams from San Beda will banner the 38-Up Division B. They are to be challenged by La Salle

Bacolod, MAPUA, and Exile Aquinas in the league that paves way to Tito-Hoopers, who still want to

compete and take their school pride on a whole new level.

The recreational league will start on July 2, Saturday at Gatorade Hoops Gym in Mandaluyong City. All

games will be live streamed on the Facebook page of Pinoyliga Cup.

So buckle up as we will witness the new era of recreational but with high level competitive basketball in

the country.
