The San Juan Knights have kept on rolling in the MPBL Lakan Season, after notching their tenth win on the trot last Monday after a routine rout of Cebu.

As usual, John Wilson have let the bombs fly once again in August, scoring above 20 points for the third game in a row.

However, there are a lot of things that did it for the defending national champions that are rarely seen in the stats.

For coach Randy Alcantara, it was credited to the total team effort that they have known the game plan from the back of their heads as the main reason why they are the lone unbeaten team in the league right now.

"Sana tuloy-tuloy," he said after their  19-point win over the Sharks, their fourth straight win agains the South.

Once again, San Juan made its move in the second quarter, with their defense held their victims to less than fifteen markers as they showed why they are still the kings of the court.

And again, Alcantara made the message loud and clear that.

"Pinaalala namin na kelangan naming dumipensa, wag kami mag-gamble dun sa position na susundot kami,"he added. "Pinaka-key doon is yung offensive rebouynds and second chance points," he then said, noting that their rotation on both ends of the floor was crisp and flawless.

It was shown on the stat sheet that San Juan converted their 21 offensive rebounds to 20 second chance points, as compared to just 16 and 14 for Cebu.

Moreover, the winning streak was a good gauge ahead of their upcoming games, with GenSan their next opponent on Saturday to cap off August.

"Di namin kasi tinetreat na mahihina yung kalaban namin. Di kami pwede magpabaya."
