Calvin Abueva suspended indefintely, fined P70,000

Calvin Abueva led 12 personalities who were either suspended and fined for their role in difference unfortunate incidents over the weekend in the PBA.

Abueva was suspended indefinitely and fined P70,000 for two separate incidents that occurred recently. The Phoenix Pulse star was suspended indefinitely for flagrant misconduct after issuing a clothesline on TNT import Terrence Jones last June 1, and getting involved in a verbal altercation with a fan later identified as Bobby Ray Parks’ girlfriend Maika Rivera.

Also suspended was Phoenix Pulse coach Louie Alas, who will sit for two games and fined P40,000 for flagrant misconduct and issuing statements detrimental to the league.

Here is the rundown of other penalties issued by the league.

Jason Castro – P1,000 for verbal altercation

Jason Perkins – P1,000 for verbal altercation

Rob Dozier – P1,000 for second motion

Don Trollano – P5,000 for Flagrant Foul Penalty 1

Alex Mallari – P5,000 for Flagrant Foul Penalty 1

Miguel Fernandez – P10,000 for approaching the technical table

David Semerad – P20,000 for fighting stance

Anthony Semerad – P20,000 for fighting stance aching the technical table

Mark Dickel – P1,000 for disrespectfully addressing an official and P20,000 for throwing the ball at an official

Terrence Jones – P50,000 for hitting Calvin Abueva in the private area and P20,000 for contacting referee Joel Baldago
