Back in 2015, a documentary titled, "Kobe Bryant's Muse" was released and it talked about who and what helped Kobe Bryant cement his legacy as one of the greatest players of his generation. It was also reported that during Kobe Bryant's final two years with the Los Angeles Lakers, a film crew had been following Kobe and the team and it could possibly be the documentary that talked about what went down in the Black Mamba's final two seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). And, Gotham Chopra who directed the 2015 documentary, was reported to be the mind behind the documentary about Kobe's final two seasons.

As it turns out, we may actually see a documentary which specifically captured everything that went down during the late Kobe Bryant's final run with the Lakers during the 2015-2016 season. And while the team finished the season with a 17-65 record which turned out to be the team's worst finish in the history of the storied franchise, it was still filled with an unlimited number of Kobe Bryant highlights which included a 60-point performance in his final victory against the Utah Jazz.

What makes this potential documentary about Kobe's final run in LA is the fact that it was captured by Kobe Bryant's camera crew and that, the said camera crew was given unprecedented access to everything from the locker room in both home and road games, to the team's training facility and yes, even what was happening in the team's plane during travels. And it was confirmed by John Bolick- the head of the team's press relations department for 27 years who also said that they allowed the crew to film what the league allowed back then. And sometimes, more.

And prior to the helicopter crash that killed him, his daughter Gianna, and seven others last January, reports are saying that the Black Mamba had seen the said footage of his final season wearing the Purple and Gold jersey and that, he already provided feedback.

While sources are saying that the said footage of everything that went down during the Black Mamba's final run in LA is now in the editing stage, we can almost be certain of the fact that we can see that said documentary along with the one featuring Kobe's final two seasons. It's just now the question of when.
