Andray Blatche and Jordan Clarkson head the list of 19 members of the Gilas Pilipinas pool for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) made an announcement on its Facebook account on Monday night with Blatche and Clarkson included in the pool where the 12-man final roster will be culled.

Also included in the pool are Japeth Aguilar, Raymond Almazan, Mark Barroca, Beau Belga, Robert Bolick, Poy Erram, June Mar Fajardo, Marcio Lassiter, Paul Lee, Gabe Norwood, CJ Perez, Roger Pogoy, Stanley Pringle, Kiefer Ravena, Troy Rosario, Christian Standhardinger, and Matthew Wright.

Gilas Pilipinas Men coached by Yeng Guiao is already making preparations for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, with Blatche now joining the team for the first time in Monday.

Guiao announced on Monday that Clarkson was included in the pool in case he will be allowed by FIBA to play as a local or in the unfortunate situation that Blatche gets injured during the preparations.

The bulk of the pool has already played for Gilas Pilipinas in the World Cup qualifiers with the exception of Bolick and Perez, who have been included in the pool during their first season in the PBA.
