Kevin Alas led NLEX to a 108-94 victory over Terrafirma Dyip

The NLEX Road Warriors bounced back from their loss to the San Miguel Beermen on Friday. The Road Warriors handed Terrafirma Dyip their second straight loss, 108-94.

NLEX had a 4-0 run due to two turnovers by the Dyip at the start of the game. Terrafirma recovered and took control of the game in the first period. The game was close in the 1st quarter and it ended with Terrafirma having a 25-23 advantage over NLEX. Joshua Munzon and Aldrech Ramos had a combined five 3 pointers for the Dyip. Calvin Oftana had 7 points and 2 rebounds for the Road Warriors.
The Dyip started the 2nd quarter with a 7-2 run. NLEX maintained their composure and sticks with Terrafirma until the end of the 1st half. Kevin Alas had a buzzer-beater to keep the game close at 44-41 with Dyip in the lead. Alas had 10 points and 3 steals after the 2nd Quarter. Joshua Munzon had 16 points and shot 50% from the field.
In the 3rd quarter, NLEX took control of the game and they outscored Terrafirma 32-23. The Road Warriors had a 14-point lead at the 2:32 mark in the third period. NLEX had a 73-67 advantage going into the last period.
The Dyip were able to lower the Road Warriors advantage to one in the 4th Quarter after an and-1 play from Rashawn McCarthy, but NLEX had a 25-10 run to take a 16-point lead, 96-82. The game ended with a score of 108-94 in favor of the NLEX Road Warriors.
Kevin Alas was named Best Player of the Game with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Joshua Munzon had 24 points, 2 rebounds and three 3-pointers.
