TNT continues to be unbeaten as they rallied Blackwater, 96-76

TNT managed to escape the poor 2nd quarter performance by  beating Blackwater, 96-76, in the ongoing 2021 PBA Philippine Cup Wednesday held at DHVSU Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga after 1 month suspension of games due to ongoing crisis of COVID19.

Rookie Mikey Williams scored career high 16 points, with 3 rebounds and 2 assists to banner Tropang Giga win. Roger Pogoy added 13 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists while team captain Jayson Castro scored 11 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. The Tropang Giga blew a double-digit 1st quarter lead in the following quarter where they were outscored by Blackwater 25-9 in the 2nd quarter to end Halftime at 43-37 in favor to Blackwater.
Meanwhile, Blackwater Bossing suffered their 5th straight loss making them at deepest part of the rankings with 0-5 win-loss record. Despite having good 2nd quarter performance, the team overwhelmed by hot shooting of TNT in the 3rd quarter. Simon Enciso led Blackwater with 14 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists while Kelly Nabong tallied a double-double performance with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Baser Amer contributed 9 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists.
